Hi there @SlickCy and good day to you.
Thank you for your question.
To score higher points and aim for 3 stars, keep matching crops that have indicative points next to it and play at the lowest level of the board to allow more crops to fall.
Easy rated level with 3 types of crops and high number of moves may give you higher chance to earn 3 stars. Sometimes, using boosters to clear a level in order to leave a high remaining number of moves help to gives better points.
I'm going to tag our experts and superstars @encantes @MountainMom @Chicken_Slayer to give you some guide on this.
Good luck and happy leveling! 😊
Hi @SlickCy and Welcome in this Community 🍓 🍎 🍏 🍓 🍎 🍏
You asked a good question. To score the higher points with 3 stars, there is no an exact rule, it depends about the moves, the difficulty and what level are you on. For me it's important to have 3 stars in all levels to achieve Companions. When you win and you have 2 or 3 moves left try to use the shovels. You can buy 3 shovels for 250 beans, but you need to have the shovel booster at zero with ➕ like the screenshot:
A good way to start a level is the cascade effect, matching the crospies from the bottom but this is not for all levels.
