Some people are unable to join the teams, even if it is not full anymore a message appears saying that it is full and there is no way to send the request.

Every time I tried to join a team, it said "Too many requests." So, I made my own team, and kept it open, but I have no clue how to get people to join

Have you been checking the "My Team" tab to see if you have any new requests to join in your team?

If you did not, please check there and scroll up to see if you have any requests -- you should have at least few requests, since you have opened your team couple of days ago -- Once you see the requests, you can think of whom to accept and whom to decline.

About the new Team Feature you have to check the settings and have "Open" otherwise the players cannot be added in your group! May you please check this thread there are all the details and helpful info: New Feature Team

If you are looking for players to join your team, may I suggest to post your comment in the thread : New Team Feature 😉😉😉😉

You have more chance to find Teammates and to tag players try to use @ and the nickname, just type the first letters! It's very easy 😊😊😊
