Question 1

"I asked what the purpose of Rancid is now we no longer have roadblocks. Or is it just to be a nuisance? Will there be any changes to him now we no longer need his key?"

On your first question even though roadblocks are no longer in the game, Rancid levels bring more variety to our levels and we are always aiming to make each level as fun as possible. In general Rancid is the "villain" of the Farm and so will always be looking to cause a nuisance...

Question 2

"Also I know why you have control groups for events....but is there any way that for super special events like birthdays, that everyone could get them...even if some have it before others."

When it comes to control-groups we always try to keep them as small as possible but unfortunately there will be instances when not all players will be able to access all our events. This is because our events calendar is big and complicated. We are always looking at ways to improve how we handle this and we will investigate if there are better approaches to take in the future.

Question 3

" With the Rancid levels, there are many players (including me), who are losing 1750 Magic Beans each time we try the level. And Rancid is becoming mean and mean by each episode! So, why waste our Beans, when (where) he is not needed 😁 "

So the Rancid levels shouldn't get harder past the first few episodes of the saga. The use of the magic beans are an option to get a little extra help if players want to, but it's entirely optional. So if you feel you don't need them you can keep hold of them for other things.

Question 4

" Will there be any opportunities to win gold bars in the game in the future?"

So in terms of winning Gold Bars in-game, we have been running the Golden Egg event for a while now and more recently Farm Tournament Gold Cup. In both these events, you can win a sizeable amount of Gold Bars. However, we are always exploring new events and rewards to give. I don't have any news to share on new opportunities to win Gold Bars, but we will continue to give players the chance to win Gold Bars in the events I have mentioned.

Question 5

" Will players be able to use magic beans to buy boosters in addition to the shovel? "

To your second question, MountainMom, there are currently no plans to use Magic Beans to buy boosters other than the shovel booster. However, it would be great to gauge from everyone in the community if this is something that you would all be interested in.

@Pounawea thank Henry for us. But one thing..rancid shouldn't get harder? There are many rancid levels that have got incredibly harder as the games gone on. Some were hard and very difficult to pass and then changed to be harder so are now impossible.

And really the beans do nothing for him as they only last one move.
