Why are my magic beans just disappearing?

I have normally just accumulated these beans, and never used them since I don't know how to use them!!

Well, I had some thousands of the little dears(!) but now I see there have diminished to less than 50, and every time I play they get less. I have no idea why, but I don't use them so I guess it really doesn't matter that much. But I'd love to know why it's happening as I have done absolutely nothing to make it happen!!!

@jeanps have you got your companions activated? They use 90 beans each time you play a level unless they are unchecked 🤔

Also did you know you can buy 3 shovels before you hit play as long as you don't already have any? They cost 250 beans (which I realise won't help you right now 🙄)

I didn't know about green ticks, and have no idea how companions work, so that's probably the issue. I certainly don't recall ever ticking anything - why would I ???

But I'll certainly make sure nothing is ticked in future!

They tick automatically @jeanps so maybe when the new companions changed to old, it reset. You then have to turn them off. It’s clearly not visible enough as many find the same thing 😔

I have never worked out what companions actually do, except use up magic beans! Not exactly helpful really.

You have to activate them by matching 4 crops in a row, or make a T or L shape, and depending on which companion it is...when the bars full, they either throw extra crops onto the board, crack eggs, move water buckets on a notch, break webs, open flowers etc. If you have a level in mind, I will see if i can find a video using them 😊
