Ads just for 3 days?

Hey there,
For a very long time I play this game now and my mother does too. And for many many months my mother is able to watch ads to get extras and I never did. 2 weeks ago suddenly I had the ads too and I was very happy it was great, and it worked so well and also I could choose which advertisements I want to have in my settings. But this was just possible for exactly 3 days. 3 days.... not more. Since the 4th day I never got ads again and I'm not longer able to choose something in my settings, this section is possible to open for me. I mean, I know it is said that it is available for groups of players for testing and so on but 3 days? Seriously? I'm a little disappointed about that, because 3 days is nothing for testing this. Is this normal? I thought maybe it would last some weeks...

Good afternoon @Sammy689 and a warm welcome to our friendly farm community.
The ads are in testing right now, so only a small % of players have them. You are correct in that 3 days doesn't seem very long...it could be that they were changing the groups or that they stopped them for the group you had just been added to, there was maybe issues with them. Some of them have had them years and I have never had them at all.
Are you logging in with Facebook or the Kingdom? If you do use FB, is your account synced with the Kingdom so you can log in either way? I am not saying it will work, but if I log in with FB on my windows 10 app, I get no events or anything...but I get them if I log in with the Kingdom. So it might be worth a try?
