My sister has different settings than me. She requires less gold bars to continue, has continuous beans and always has quests. I always need 9 gold bars to continue, never receive beans or lives and quests do not show up for me. I appear to be connected to FB as my pic is there.

The studio sneakily run different versions of parts of the game occasionally to see what is more popular so it sounds like she has them while you don't.
Can you try logging out of Facebook, restart your device and then log back in and see it that makes a difference?
