    Hippeastrum Rutilum (according to Shopee website)

    Here we called it "Trumpet Flower". It has bulbous under its roots.

    The picture was taken near my house.

    Torch Ginger Flower (Etlingera Elatior)

    It is an ingredient for a kind of spicy sour noodle soup called "asam laksa" (AKA Penang Laksa) in Malaysia. My mother usually uses it to cook fried rice.
