I have not been getting my animal helpers once achieving them in previous levels. It says to go back to the previous level to get them, but I click on it and already have the stars needed.

I have the same problem with missing animal helpers on a few levels.
When I wrote in for assistance I received only an automated reply saying to use the forum and I would receive no other response.

Thanks for loading my previously missing animals BUT now that I passed 420 with 3 stars, those animals aren't helping me! Is there a fix in the works for this problem?

I have the same problem. Didn't get reward animals from 376, 390, and 405. Maybe more but these are really affecting me now! Please help!
