My hero is my kitten Shiso. We rescued her from a highway in the middle of nowhere when she was alone, too young to be away from her mother, covered in mites/fleas, and born without spheres in her eyes so she is blind too. The vet said there is no way she'd make it through the night. I gave her all the love I could in hopes she could finally feel love and peace before she went. She fought with all her might and made it through... six years now and still strong. She gave me a whole new understanding of strength.3 -
