I certainly do not like the new Hero Mode and didn't like it when it was trialled previously.
I use those remaining moves to collect cropsies of my choice, especially when I'm collecting suns and water for 1,2,3 grow and other contests requiring the collection of specific numbers of cropsies or when I'm trying to obtain specific target scores.
I can also imagine that this has not been welcomed by players who have purchased extra moves, only to find that they have g control over them in they've completed the level.
This needs to be changed back to the way it was.

Many thanks @Lady_Choo for directing me to the right thread for this topic.
I can see how this might be beneficial if wanted to move through levels quicker especially if you had quite a few moves left, however I prefer to chose which cropsies I want to collect with the remaining moves particularly for contests and events and therefore do not like this feature. It would be beneficial to have the option like we do with the speed in accessibility if it were to be a permanent feature.

I agree with many of the comments. The hero mode robs of us or move, and therefore, stars

Horrible horrible idea for players. I cannot for the life of me think of any single solitary reason why this was even thought of. Get rid of it.

I also have had this mode switched on over the last week or so and it’s totally changed the game for me. In instances where I’ve used gold bars to get more moves, I’ve essentially now had all those moves I’ve just paid for removed! I’m surprised anyone would have thought this was a good idea to have switched on as standard (there’s no way to switch it off). Very disappointing gameplay experience.

I HATE THIS CHANGE WITH A RED HOT PASSION. If this doesn't go back to normal soon I will need to find a different game. Why would you remove the most rewarding part of the game, when you get to the hero mode part?

I have completely stopped playing (& paying) since they started this test. If they make it a perm feature then I'll uninstall & won't return. Sad because I really enjoyed the game 😞
