I am sorry to hear that you are having issue with the game!! By any chance, are you playing the game through Safari?
If so, I have seen same issue with Candy Crush Saga game also, and we have advised players to use Google Chrome instead of Safari!!
Can you please use Chrome to play the game and let me know if it worked or not?

Why can I not receive or ask for lives from my team mates. Also how do I make them my friends as there isn't a friends request button
This game has changed. It's so much harder with less ways to earn lives. I have reached level 5350 I am now deleting the game. I've had enough so thanks for ruining it by making so many negative and unhelpful changes
I've tried contacting support and they're hopeless. Not addressing the issue or answering my questions. The latest temporary event where you needed to collect logs, disappeared from my game. I got a message that it was 'taking a break', (or something to that effect, which I've never seen in the game before), two daysโฆ

The game always shows that my team has given me free lives, but they are NEVER in my inbox. In fact there is never anything in my inbox. I even tried clearing the app cache and storage and nothing.
