I haven’t had any events since January and I gave up on asking for help because I get the same excuses about some test group. I’ve been playing this game for years and this has never happened. I barely play it anymore.

But assurances it's not just an excuse because you are disappointed with the answer given. All the game studios do it and if you think it's limited to just King…. You ought to hear the complaints about another major companies game. At least when an event breaks a game or players really are not happy with it (which is the reason for testing amongst other things) they ignore comments.
