After playing thousands of games it seems that I am being subjected to a barrage of unwelcome hints, promps and instructions on every aspect of the game. And there does not seem to be any way of turning this feature off.

Have you cleared cookies recently? That usually results in it telling you all about it again. Or if you start playing on a new browser.
We all get that from time to time so I know its annoying!
Woohoo that is brilliant to hear π Just bear in mind if you ever use a new device or browser, (or clean farm cookies) they will appear for each new action but should only appear once.
THANK YOU I followed some instructions and WOW it worked perfectly. Those annoying messages are gone from all of my f.b. games.
It would be in your settings. You should clear your cache regularly on a browser but not your cookies unless there is an option too. some browsers are set though so that they clean them everytime you close the browser. But you'd know if you have to log in to every site everytime you visit?
