If you play on a mobile device (iOS & Android) and you haven't updated your Farm app in a very long time, you may be met today with a pop-up or message asking you to go to the store to update the game.
This update is so that the studio can make sure that the game works properly for all players.
If you get this pop-up, please make sure to update the game as it will continue to let you enjoy Farm and the future events in 2025! Nothing else about the game will change, and you'll have a better setup to receive new events in the game.
If you do not get this pop-up or message, don't worry, nothing has changed for you, but when you can, please make sure to keep your game updated to ensure that everything works properly.

What if I cannot update on the mobile device because the latest version of mobile app requires a higher version than the OS version on the device (e.g. iphone 4 ios 7.1.2 latest compatible game version is 5.15.9, Build 830702317, March 25, 2019) ? In that case I cannot update but cannot play either since there is no way to close the pop-up message. Please fix!
Hello @fidget77, unfortunately the studio has to implement the forced update to be able to ensure that all the features in the game works properly for everyone.
If you're on a older device that is unable to be updated, you can save your progress with a King account and continue to play on other devices or platforms (iOS, Android, Windows or Facebook).
It was about time to ditch old devices together with old games I guess. Thank you for your insight. Would playing on an old unsupported device be a problem for you or the game? If not then why not put an x button on the Update popup window?
Hey there, just wanted to get back to you regarding this. I think it's more of an unfortunate case that, the studio can only support so many versions of the game, and that along with how device providers limit updates makes for these types of scenarios where you can't update the game.
My Farm Heroes is up to date. I haven’t gotten any special level games for months now!
Also, I used the “contact us” link for an issue I was having regarding gold bars, & have heard nothing back!
And, some of these levels are IMPOSSIBLE to pass with the number of moves they give you, without using a bunch of boosters & gold bars!
With all 3 of these issues, I don’t even enjoy playing FHS anymore! And I just received my 6 year anniversary badge.
If you can direct this to someone that could help with these issues, I would really appreciate it.

Hey there, just wanted to respond here (even though this isn't related to this thread),
If you have feedback for specific levels - please feel free to make a thread about it. We and the studio regularly talk and we usually update the levels fairly quickly. Of course, the studio aims to sometimes challenge players, but in some cases it's great to have that feedback!
Similarly, if you have problems with other parts of the game, feel free to add a thread about it and we'll respond to you here in the forum as soon as we can.
