Farm Companions are getting Updated! 🐮🐔

Hey Farmers!

Good news, the studio has some updates to Farm Companions to make it easier for you to collect them in your game!

⚠️ Please note: This feature is being rolled out gradually, so not everyone will see it right away. If you don’t have it yet, hang tight, it might be coming your way soon!

🐐 What’s a Companion, anyway?

If you’re new here, don’t worry! Companions are friendly little animals you unlock as you play through special companion levels. Each one has a unique power to help you beat levels, they’re your trusty teammates on the farm! ✨

🎉 What’s changed?

From now on, you’ll unlock one Companion per collection level, and it doesn’t matter how many stars you earn. Just win the level, and the Companion is yours! 💚
If you've already passed some of these levels, then they will automatically added to your collection, as long as you've passed the level where they’re now unlocked. No need to replay anything! 🙌

This means more variety, more friends, and more fun for your Farm adventure! Let us know what you think, and happy collecting! 🌻

There are some companions I do not have. I have tried to go back to collect them.

The milestones are too high.

@LoFiGummy in my game the companions are not matching the Cropsies in the levels I am playing, like if the companions are having say 90 onions, 90 carrots, 50 water, and I choose the companion with 90 onions and then I hit enter and my game starts and only in it is strawberries, sunshine, and rockets, and that's it nothing else how are the companions helping me seems like they are playing a trick would be great if it were Halloween 👻🤡💀 but we just celebrated Independence Day here in America 🎆🎇✨ and Happy Independence Day to you if you Celebrate it, so can you check this out and see if this is supposed to be happening in our game or maybe it's just a mishap in the game Thank you for your assistance

I have been trying to collect some of those characters that I was not able to get from the levels that I had already passed so in returning to those levels to get them I have found out they are more difficult than ever before I have tried and tried to collect them and they are simply just to hard to get with the Less Moves in the previous levels I had already played and not getting them with 5, or even 10 more moves back then when I previous played them and not collecting the characters I should've known I was Not going to collect them now with 5, or 10 Less Moves on those previous levels WOW I actually thought there was truly a chance for me to really get those characters but it was just a Bunch of Words as Usual Thanks but No Thanks

Unfortunately I have no idea how to make a video of the game. The producer hasn’t changed at all, it just gives you 2 cropsies.

The breaker breaks 2 ice squares and doesn’t give you any cropsie when it used to give you 2 cropsies.⤵️

So I had another talk with the studio now, and to clarify:

Nothing has been removed from the companions, instead they've looked to make the companions stronger by them adding more than one type of cropsies.

So what this means is that we might've run into a bug that was there before the companions got more widely spread out in the game @BQN537 😅 Just that the timing was off, but in either case this is great news in that we found it!

I know it's much to ask, but if you have a video recording of this issue - it would help the developers to try to find the issue, that goes for anyone else here too! If the companions aren't making cropsies, please let us know, either here or in a separate Support thread. 🤗

Hey! Just wanted to say first that I appreciate the spirit and bringing in more people into discussions, but let's not tag too many players in one post as it can be seen as spam (either by the system here or the rules as well). 🙏

For the question of where this test is available, to my understanding this isn't to a specific location, and the goal is to introduce it to as many players as possible once any and all issues have been fixed 🤗

@LoFiGummy So I voted but haven't checked out my game yet so I hope this is not something that only is for Indonesia players only as the Design Team seems to only want to open new features to the Indonesian Territory and tell the rest of us who live in USA that it is a Test Feature and blah blah blah same ol same thing time after time same story over and over again and again but that's not you @LoFiGummy you are doing a great job as our Community Manager and I thank you everything you do I truly appreciate you my friend 🙂💯

@LoFiGummy @MollyS Thanks for the tag I am so happy if we are able to collect the characters that seemed to have been looked out lately but having them back is great to hear so I will check that out, it would be Awesome to have our Team Event Pick Axes as @LoFiGummy I will always bring this up until the Design Team either brings it back or gives us a Team Event that is playable for us as a True Team Event and one like the Pick Axes or better thanks for the tag and I can't wait to check out the characters, Team Event where we could communicate through our game by use of Play Store if possible since King Games and Microsoft does notwant to support it

If I choose the producer he just gives me two strawberry cropsie.⤵️ If I choose the breaker it only breaks the ice and doesn’t give me 2 strawberry cropsies like it used to.

So it doesn’t seem like it’s working properly ☹️

@MollyS & @rebelchild I talked a bit with the studio now and the companions should be stronger than before as before they only produced one type of cropsie, but now they should make cropsies of several types and be more helpful. So if they are not producing anything it could be a bug and we'll look into it!

If you have any videos or screenshots of this happening it would be super helpful, but we'll have a look until then of course!

Edit: I also heard now that if you have the cropsie icon near the companion here in the corner, then you don't have the new test yet - so there might not be anything to worry about just yet 🤗

Yes exactly, you should have your companions automatically once you have this change in the game. You should not lose any companions that you have collected.

Before you could pick between one of the three companions, but since this is now x1 companion per level, and if you have completed it, you get the one companion.

So because of that they are spread out amongst the levels a bit more evenly.

Hi @MollyS I just played a couple of levels. The first two times I had the shark companion and he did absolutely nothing. At the end of the game the check mark indicating you collected the correct cropsie appeared, but the shark threw nothing on my board. I threatened to turn him into a fish taco, and my next game a fox appeared. This companion did work.

Also I still have the ability to collect beans

The inability to collect beans to be able to use the companions definitely continues to be a problem….and the quests remain impossible - at least for me

Another thing I have noticed is even if we do get more companions to unlock it seems pretty pointless if there is still no way of collecting more beans to use the companions.

Hey @MollyS thanks for the tag. I hadn't seen @LoFiGummy tag yet as I'm still catching up on my emails. I didn't really pay attention to my companions as my mind is still realing over the soon to be loss of our team chat. Hard to keep focused on the games. @LoFiGummy you mentioned ' if you already passed some of these levels then the companions will automatically be added to your collection'. Can you clarify that? Do players at high levels automatically get all companions? Or just some? What about all of the companions we already collected? Do we lose them?

Hi @LoFiGummy thank you for the update. I have some companions which I have been unable to collect in previous levels, and not for the want of trying in order to complete my collection of farm buddies, because it has proved unobtainable. Please, does this mean we can now re-play older levels to obtain these?

Thank you @MollyS for the tag. FHS was my first King game and holds a special place in my heart.

I feel rather saddened that I rarely play anymore. I have rode the rapids with this game during my game start, and I know I am not alone.

I rarely have anything new, I don't find the zing in the game as it once had.

The few new events I have had I really don't like, because the goals verses rewards aren't worth it.

Please @LoFiGummy can you tell the design studio to take into consideration players at higher levels, not all players want to feel they have to spend money. It should be playable without such.

There has been a lot of changes to our Farm, and after a rough time came some good, now I feel the white water has been increasing and we are heading for the waterfall.

Team events please 🙏 I think this is super important to a game! I know I would play more if we had one.

I guess this is good news for players on lower levels who haven't collected them all yet. For players who have already got them all, has anyone noticed the AWFUL new change? The companions provide only the actions (breaking, hitting, etc,,) and are no longer throwing a needed cropsie on the board! Yet they still cost 90 beans 🙄 This just started in my game yesterday making it even more difficult 😤

Is there any explanation for this @LoFiGummy ? Thanks
