How do you use magic beans in the game?

Just wonderingโฆ did you just start playing the game? Which level are you at?
The main purpose of Magic Beans is to activate the "companions" โ the cute little animals that we see at the beginning (most) of the levels! Depending on the "power" of the companions, we will need to use 50 to 90 per each try of a level!
Another use with the Magic Beans is โ to buy the shovels! But, you can do it only before clicking "play" the level. And, only when your shovels are at 0 count! If you already have some shovels in your game, Magic Beans won't help!
Other than that, there are no other uses with Magic Beans! But, you will notice that if you keep on using the Beans to activate Companions, they will disappear very soon! So, please use those when needed! By the time you reach higher levels, you will collect a large amount of Magic beans๐

a bit late now I know but my tip is, I waste the shovels before starting the next level if I have any spare. Then I can buy three new each time. if I'm closing the game until next day, I use them up and then buy three before I shut the game.

I found it really frustrating that I could only use beans BEFORE the game and had to use gold to replenish shovels whilst in the game. The chances of me being at zero shovels at the beginning of a game is going to be slim. You should be able to replenish at any time. This is a tactic to use your gold then need to purchase it. I also often need to use more than 3 shovels in more difficult levels. I had more than 100 shovels until I encountered the buffalos! ๐ฃ
The beans are useless!!! We should be able to buy gold bars with them!

I agree with you if they could be used for more and different things but at the moment nothing is changed! ๐ผ๐๐

This is the problem with the magic beans. For what we can use it, doesn't seem enough for us. It would be really good if the magic beans could be used for more (we have so many of it for nothing) or at least to help the team mates, if there is any team event again.

Unfortunately is not possible to buy Gold Bars with Magic beans and is a good idea!!
When you start to play a level,you can spend 50 / 70 / 90 Magic Beans on the Companions to help you beat the levels.
You can use it to beat Rancid if you still have levels with Rancid.You can spend 800 to 1750 Magic Beans per trial to receive extra bonus points on the Cropsies.
Or you can buy 3 shovels for 250 magic beans but your inventory must be at zero with the sign + โฌ๏ธ
when you have Zero magic beans click on the sign +
And you can buy 3 shovels with 250 Magic Beans ๐๐๐

I hate having all these beans and no real way to use them. I saw what I thought was an option to buy gold bars with beans and I jumped at it only to find it was the exact opposite!! I ended up spending LOTS of gold bars to buy more beans!!!!! WHAT A WASTE! Please give us some good options for using the beans in a more helpful way! To keep accumulating these useless beans is so annoying!!
Yeah I have a few million of them, somewhere over 7m I think. I don't check anymore lol.
I know the option to buy boosters with beans has been suggested, but help to team mates would be useful too. Of course if they request lives and lives are full, they do turn to beans anyway. But that doesn't help your balance!
Too bad the magic beans are only useful to pay the companions or 3 shovels for 250 beans if you have zero shovel booster. I have way more than 100k of these beans and of course when I play, I get more and more, but there's no further use for it. It would be much more interesting, if with those magic beans you can also buy boosters or extra moves when you see you cannot beat the level. I don't know what to do with all those beans, as I passed all the 5'000er levels this seems kinda boring to me. So I just wait some days and complete quickly 1 or 2 episodes a week to earn gold at the gold races and rancit riches, and of course I play the level events. Beside that I just earn at the farm market while making a better score on past levels to earn additional 14 goldbars every week (especially since the rancit levels are replaced these goldbars are easy earned).
Another idea is if you could give some help to your team mates in those team events. Anything for what we can use the beans is a must be to make the game more farmtastic ;-)

You can use beans in a variety of ways, for companion usage. For helping with rancid but my favourite is for buying shovels. You can buy 3 shovels for 250 beans as long as you don't have any, before you hit play on a level. Shovels are very handy if you don't already know ๐
