My game is in slow motion. Started right about the time the new look of the flowers came out. Is there any fix for this?

I have the same problem. It used to take me 2-3 minutes to pass a level, but now the game speed is 4 times slower, and it takes me 8 minutes to pass a level. The speed doesn't change whether I turn the assist options on or off.
Game version 6.87.15

Since this new update all the characters are very animated and slow, levels are taking longer to complete, boosters run out faster, I have lost my race and win streak, this is boring me. Do we get the option to choose old version or new version? Otherwise just delete!!!
