I will do whatever it takes not to lose a level on Farm Heroes Saga, and that includes watching plenty of ads. 😬😬😬
Through the years, I have handled uncomfortable ads for undies, bras, obesity patches, dating apps, Temu, etc.
This time I found an ad that looked exactly like a pop-up would on an Android phone. I play on an iPad, but I own a Samsung phone and I’m aware that Android wouldn’t show pop-ups like this to tell you that any app is out of date. However, I think this one would easily trick the unsuspecting Android user. I wonder what does it download if you click on it. 🤔
I know advertising revenue is what matters to companies like King. It doesn’t matter what they show, as long as the company gets its 10c per click. But they shouldn’t put their users at risk, especially considering that many people have their bank accounts on the phone, as well.
This is the ad I’m talking about, if you don’t touch it for 30 seconds it will show an “X” on the top right corner, so you can move on.
