Stingy Rewards of 3 Gold Bars in the Gold Bar Race (7 game wins in a row)

Stingy Gold Bar Rewards

I've been playing this game for years (and years and years), and when my beans and ammo were plentiful (and easier to obtain King, without big spendy spends!) I sometimes took part in the Gold Bar Race. I think that's what it's called, where it used to be that you had to win 5 games in a row, now 7! Sometimes I won 10 or 20 bars, rarely fewer.

Well, the last few/several times I've participated, and won, I only ever receive 3 bars, ever ☹️

It can't be because other players are playing in different time-zones, otherwise I'd have always been poorly rewarded.

They seem to have made it harder for us, and the rewards have got poorer, what a fix. They can go whistle before I use my precious ammo again to win a pathetic 3 gold bars.

Treat loyalty better King 😕

I play in the UK, and I'm just about to attempt level 8127.

As far as time zones may affect the prize-pot, I'm not sure. Possibly the demographic spread, of the highest percentage of players per country/time-zone.

In my simple-headed logic, if I play early morning (6-7 usually) I may be playing against 'early-risers' like myself, AND 'late-to-bedders' 😄

PS. It's the weekend, so playtime today is 17.09 right now.

I’m on level 8185; I didn’t have "Rancid's Riches" at all between levels 7000 and 8000 and thought the event had been removed from the game. Before that—when I did have it—I used to win a maximum of 10 gold bars, though usually only 6 or 7.
Since the event reappeared after level 8000, I’ve only been getting 3 gold bars—with just one single instance where I got 4.
It’s possible that the rewards change the higher up you get in the levels. 🤷‍♀️

What level are you on? I’m now thinking it might progressively give you fewer gold bars as you go further in the game. It may start giving me fewer pretty soon. We’ll see. 🤔

I thought that being a fellow Aussie that I would get more gold bars.
Unfortunately I have only received 5 or less gold bars. 🇦🇺☹️

Hi @DieOmimi and @Eggcracker. I hope you’re doing well.

It really must be the time of the day. I live in Australia, therefore I play when everyone else is asleep. Rancid always gives me a minimum of 10 gold bars, sometimes 12, even 14. It’s been a while since he gave me 20, though.

To be honest, when it changed from 5 to 7 levels in a row, I thought pretty soon I’d have to play 9 levels to get the gold, but luckily that hasn’t happened yet.

I’m around the 4300 level mark, I don’t know if it’s going to get harder as I move forward.

EDIT: I only just got 12 gold bars.

Hi @Eggcracker I am sorry that you are not satisfied with the rewards in Rancid's Riches.
I have also noticed that, for some time now, there are only 3 or 4 gold bars to be won.
