I see that I was playing it correctly the whole time; I just never seemed to have nearly enough moves when the spider had three additional locations to jump to and webbing up his environment each time. Couple of times there was almost no area for new cropsies to fall from because of the amount of left-behind webbed squares…

I'm also having this issue. I can't figure out how to destroy the nests; making repeated matches next to them, above them, below them, makes no headway at all.
