It has been a couple of times after some problem in my phone, it goes to level 1 again

After updating the game from Google play stores it starts again from level 1 and not from where my game has progressed

Were you previously logged in through either Facebook or the Kingdom?

Its always a good idea to if not as it saves your progress and makes it much easier to restore.
