This is the information on hay from the help centre

Hay: Use the Goat to collect the Hay. To move the Goat you will need to make a match that is aligned with the Goat horizontally or vertically. The Goat will move towards the Hay in a straight line. Any Hay that the Goat crosses will be collected!

Tips:

• The Goat has a special counter. Make matches directly next to the Goat to reduce his counter. Once the counter reaches zero, it will activate his special move, jumping to the nearest Hay spot instantly to collect it!
• The Gardening Glove will instantly trigger the Goat's special move.
• For later levels, if you need to collect Hay but don't see any on the board, it might be hidden by leaves. Clear the leaves first by creating matches on top of them to reveal the Hay.
