The same level would have got passed without the super charger: A normal double colour bomb combo passes these levels too, but takes a few more turns.

They help beat those levels that the game wants you to pass @Deal_One . They also make you waste boosters and gold on those levels the game wants you to pay for to keep the super charger going. I have done some controlled tests on a few episodes in the past which showed that the super charger does not help beat levels.…
