Why do I have to stay on levels for months at a time?

I play almost everyday, but many friends have progressed way beyond me.  They use other devices, does that make a difference if you use an I-pad, etc.?

I don't think it matters if you play on either a mobile, tablet or on Facebook. Personally I prefer a tablet. What matters is how you play each level. I suggest you check YouTube or https://care.king.com/en/tutorial/candy-crush-soda-saga for video tutorials on best strategy for each level.
