I was on 8 on the island and had won 6 hr  went off the island for a bit when I came back on the island was gone but the time is till going  .

Hi Sonja!

All timer events cannot be stopped in time once they have started. The same with unlimited lives - once the timer starts you'll have to use that time window to play.
