Why have I not received any points for ages?

For a while now, all the points I had accumulated have disappeared. I first noticed it when I couldn't buy any 'hammers'. Then, when I just finished a weather alert (all 10 stages) I noticed I was not allocated 1 point, let alone the thousands I should've gotten. Where did they go?????
