No rechargeable boosters

I’m on level 333. Since 330, I’ve had no rechargeable boosters, so I’ve had to use up the ones I’ve earned. I logged out, closed the app, restarted my iPad and finally reinstalled the game. All that did was delete all the boosters I’ve earned. I can’t get any rechargeable boosters (and according to the help videos there should be a rocket on this level) which makes finishing levels almost impossible. Also, when I run out of matches, instead of ending the game for me, nothing happens. It just hangs there, unfinished, and I have to manually exit.
Is this some kind of bug or is it just meant to be impossible, because if it is then you’re losing s customer here!

It sounds like you might have an older ipad that is no longer compatible with the game...

No, it isn’t an older model. It’s an iPad air 2, newer than those mentioned in that link, running the latest iOS; besides which, nothing has changed since I first downloaded the game a month ago. It just suddenly stopped working properly yesterday.
