I assume you are building the candy pots when you see the factories are ready?
I noticed in my own game yesterday that the candy pots were not being eaten also, I thought it was just a glitch in my own game.
I will pass your feedback on and see if anything can be done.

Thank you. Yes I’m building the candy pots when they are ready. Pets are eating the candy but the candy isn’t reducing, the pots don’t disappear, and I’m not getting any rewards. I now have a lot of Candy pots on my screen! Thank you for any help you can offer, I’m really disappointed with not being able to play the game properly.

I reloaded my own game and things were back to normal (there were many rewards waiting). Yesterday I did have connection problems.
Could this also be why you are having problems?
Note that during weekdays (when 'trick and treat' mode is not on) the eating of candy and delivery of rewards is a lot slower than it is over the week end (when more Pets visit your town)
If you leave the game for a few hours do you come back to some waiting rewards?

I've been watching mine for a bit and discovered that the more candy you have, the more Pets you need to eat and reward. I have lots of candy pots but only a few 100 pets so they cannot eat enough to give rewards very often.
It was different on the weekend (in trick and treat mode) when more Pets came to visit.
I am still getting rewards now, but it's about 1 per hour, so my problem is too much candy and not enough Pets!
