Want to Know More About Bronze Dog and Silver Cat

Hello. I am on level 286 of Pet Rescue and I keeping rescuing the bronze dog and the silver cat, but then they keep disappearing on me. I don't recall this happening on other levels. Can anyone help?

As soon as you catch the first Buff Buddy (the Bronze Dog) the 'Buddy Bar' will show in your game, see the two images below.

It will start at the first level and fill as you collect blocks and even faster when you save Pets. If you fill to the next level you will get the Silver Cat and finally the Golden Bear/Panda.

The problem is, that if you do not collect blocks or rescue Pets quickly enough the bar level will drop and can take you all the way back to the beginning and you'll have to save the Bronze dog and/or Silver cat again.

So keep an eye on your Buddy Bar and it will show your progress, or decline 😿
