Hi @scullyfox the 10 second thought bubbles are just the Pets reacting within the game.
When they want something the object will float above their head for a long time. This usually happens directly after you complete each level.

Also, have a look at the post at this link to see other things they ask for What does the Pet want? When you put them on their desired place they will reward you with lives or boosters or level points for Petopia 😺

It seems there has been an issue somewhere but many players are having success feeding burgers instead! So try that and let us know if it works 🤗
I've never seem my pets ask for anything and I've been looking after every level.
How exactly do they ask? If it's just a ten second thought bubble or something I'm probably missing it :)
Hi @Bipley the pets will ask for them, then you need to drop them on the Burger Joint, see the video below.

Hi @scullyfox I will tag our community manager @Snow_Rider and see if she has any updates for this glitch. Its worked with burgers up to now.
Have you also checked for updates on your device? Which device are you playing on (version too) and which app version do you have?
