I have created my own postcards of two Italian towns I plan to visit in October with my youngest daughter and granddaughter.
The first is Civita di Bagnoregio:

Actually upside down trees are a real thing! They are called "Baobab"
Without their leaves it looks like they are growing upside down with their roots in the air!
I know I am do ally (crazy) π€ͺ this was something new to me too. Totally fascinating, however I believe they were really dead trees turned upside down to create a sculptural area and a peaceful place to sit and absorb the serene atmosphere.

Hope you all are having a fantastic summer! I thought today would be a great day to go the beach and enjoy the sunset with Puppy, and we also brought along one of our Candy friends, Odus the owl!
Especially during the summer season, I love going to the beach! Sometimes I go with my family and other times I join along with my friends (sometimes both π)! I do enjoy traveling and going on little vacations as well, but whenever I feel like sitting back and enjoying the moment but donβt feel like traveling far, I simply pack up my bag and go on a beach day! ποΈποΈβοΈ

@zainab786 do you live in England? I have wondered that before. Where abouts was that one? I used to go there a lot as a child as that was one of my parents favourite places. That and Scotland. I just feel peace when I look there.
Pretty sure it was one of them my brother got chased by a pack of geese too. I would have said I have never laughed so hard, but he fell into a duck pond a couple of years later and it beat that π€£π€£

@LeFlarcane Tokyo at night is beautiful but I have to wonder how anyone sleeps with all that light? I wonder about the birds, do they get confused?
I think we tend to forget they have scenery like that too! I always think of the cities.
@kiara_wael I always think of Eygpt as being like @maf34100 pictures as that is mostly what we see. Thank you for sharing another side of it.

My daughter went to Paris @Princess_Jessica just before covid I think it was. There were a lot of strikes so she didn't get to see everywhere she wanted but it does look beautiful. I think I would have liked to have gone one day.
