Hello everyone,
I’m happy to be here and play the game again. Today I restarted playing again after almost a year of break and I see some changes.
The first thing that caught my attention is that I finally have the video ADS for extra boosters, moves and cherry bomb (I was waiting ages to have them lol). Then the layout graphic is quietly nice. Glad to see the game is still on developers minds ❤️
Also, there always be a “bad side” in every thing lol. I noticed that the windows 10 app is so laggy and the mobile app on my iPhone overheats the phone and lower the brightness after few seconds I open the game 😢. Anyone of you encountered the same issues?
Now, I need to catch up with the community badges!
Hi @Federico457 it's nice to see you are back 🙂
I'm glad to hear you're still enjoying the game and are lucky enough to get the ads for extra moves etc now.
Some other players have noted that since the last Windows update their game on the Win 10 app is laggy - I don't know what can be done, it might be worth contacting Windows about it?
I'm not sure why it also overheats your phone? Are you playing on an older device?
Lynette❤️ how are you doing?
How can we contact Windows? Do you think it’s enough writing a review on Microsoft Store? In case, I’ll do that.
About the overheating, I play on iPhone 11 and iPad 9 Gen.
Hi @Federico457 I'm doing well, thanks for asking ❤️
Look up the Microwave app store (the address will differ depending on where you are) then scroll down to find their support link. Hopefully they can help?
Let me know if they give you any solutions so we can pass them on.
(My screenshot below was from on a computer, but I'd assume you can also find this on your phone)
I just looked up the website but that "Microsoft Store support" is for actually the Microsoft products such as Surface, Tablets and Pc.
Anyway, I went to PRS page on Microsoft Store App, scrolled down and clicked on "Supporto Tecnico di Pet Rescue Saga" (Support page) and It redirected me to King support. I filled everything and sent directly a support ticket to King.
King replied me after few minutes. They sent me a guide on how to try fix it.
I will paste their and mine replies.
⬆️King reply to my ticket.
⬆️The website they linked me in order to follow the instructions.
"Thank you for replying me.
I just followed all the steps you sent me but it partially worked. When I "Reset" the app through the settings and open the game, It worked smootly but as soon as I sign in with my King account to restore my progress the game started lagging again. So I think It's an app problem when you log into your account. For the records, I lost all my boosters as well. But It's not a big problem tho."
⬆️My reply.
Hi @Federico457 , Welcome back!! I play on windows 10 and mine lags also. All my devices laptop and phone (which I do not play on) both get hot when I'm playing. So, it's not just you… 🙂
Hi Lisa❤️ nice to see you!
Oh ok, so it is not just me. 😅
I don't play it on windows, but wanted to say welcome back 🤗
Hi @Federico457 🙂
Possible causes of lag in games:
1.) Internet
a.) Insufficient bandwidth - make sure you have the minimum Mbps (megabits per second) required in playing PRS. I don't know what the specific requirement is. Since you're in communication with player's support, ask them.
b.) Bad connections - depending on the type of connections you have (DSL, cable or fiber). Dial-up is the word.
c.) Problems with wireless - weak WIFI signals or router issues. Try using ethernet cable to rule out wireless connection as the cause of lag.
2.) Overworked GPU (graphics processing unit) - sometimes overworked graphics card can reduce the framerate or graphics resolutions in the game. Clean your computer of dust or upgrade your graphics card especially if it's outdated.
3.) Insufficient RAM (random access memory) - you need at least 2GB while playing. Check through Task Manager. If you're running low, make sure to close any open browser/s for it eats up a lot of memory.
4.) Operating System - make sure it's maintained or upgraded. Clean your temporary files, uninstall unused programs and optimize drive regularly.
5.) Windows update - make sure you're current.
