This is mine. The beach here isn't brilliant and the water is very brown, but a lot of that is from the sand but there had been so much rain that it left puddles on the beach as the tide doesn't come in that far.
This is a view across the sea about 15 miles away on the other side is a another seaside town you can just see in the distance
@Lady_Choo where is your beach? It looks lovely. I like beaches that aren't crowded and are surrounded by nature, and not huge hotels.
Here are some more photos of Outer Banks . These are the original homes that were first built on the island. They are rustic and not too fancy. I love them. The oldest of the homes were built in mid 1800's. This one is my favorite. It's called The Outlaw Cottage. It was built by a Confederate general whose last name was Outlaw
Here are a few more of the old cottages
Those cottages look a little worrying with all the weather changes we have had lately, but I love the story behind the first.
My beach is on the East coast in Lincolnshire (england) Sadly we aren't having a good time with water quality right now since we left the EU so our water isn't nice and blue. But we've been going there for 20 years so its got a lot of memories!
