Whenever I play this game the phone get overheated. Why? Even different phones so it’s not the phone’s fault. What can be do with this problem?

Hiya, sometimes depending on what you already have on your device, what free memory it has, what version it is, can make a difference. Which phone(s) have you used it on with the issue? So I can let the CM know in case of future reports.

I use on the newest iPhone 15. The game is regularly updated. I can’t play long toe as the pho owed heating and it damages the battery!

It should be ok as if it was too hot, the phone would just close down. I have the same phone actually and mine gets too warm with another game so I know what you mean. Have you got plenty of free space?

@Mwilli the studio haven't had any reports, BUT, have asked that you can let them know the following in case something very small is causing it. I know you're on an iphone 15 so I am assuming 17.4 ios?
- The phone model;
- Game version;
- Operating System (iOS in case of iPhone);
- Player IDs;
You get the player ID from clicking on the cog, choosing profile, then at the top of the page there is a king logo. Double tap that and it gives you a number which is your ID.
When I have the info I will let the CM have it who will send it on to the studio 😊

What other details? I have already gave you all details. The phone is up to date, enough storage but when I play this game and only THIS game, the phone overheats!

Having just changed to iPhone 15, mine also overheats. It doesn’t shut down but unless I turn battery saver on, it is using about 1% of battery life for 1 minute of play. That can’t be right? OS 17.6.1, game version 3.9.0.3, user ID is 14300596243
When battery saver is on, iPhone 15 runs cool, graphics are a bit choppy but playable.
With battery saver off, it gets hot even with screen turned down low so it’s not the screen that’s draining the battery. Must be something else.Thanks

As to the amount of battery life, yeah I know that feeling but it seems more down to the iphone 15 rather than specific apps. Even using facebook for half an hour seems to take mine down a lot quicker.
I carry a battery pack for while out and about. Daughters old motorola with less features though, still on 70+% when we get back.
Check bluetooth is turned off at the settings…not the control centre. (also the same for wifi as apparantly the control centre only disconnects now, it doesn't switch it off. Not for this issue but if you ever think you are turning it off that way) Also check its the only app, nothing is open in the background. If not using wifi, check your phone data settings.
I also find mine gets hot a lot. I am sure its the processor more than anything. Note any tips above are my own experiance for any app, King are not blaming it on your device. The issue is when only a few people report it, its more likely something thats conflicting.

In the end I uninstalled it and downloaded again. That seems to have fixed the heating issue but I’ve lost all my power-ups. Because there’s no clear cache on the iPhone I suspect it’s something to do with memory management. Thanks.
