Welcome to No Fun Allowed zone. I had the same issue with Candy Crush Friends Saga's event levels (those are basically kaizo levels, in a week I usually only got past the first event level if that, which made me give up on the multiplayer features for Candy Crush in general pretty fast).

And this topic is no longer needed, so if a mod could lock it to avoid people from coming in and bumping it a bunch (which I've seen happen to other topics) that'd be wonderful. Also would prevent confusion with 4 in a Row.

I do have the Social Hub but all that does is take me to the Friend List.

Old design had more personality with the animations for winning and losing which the old one lacks.

Well looks like it's Airplane Mode for me then. Terrible design to not let you opt out (not as bad as Odus spam though).

Would definitely be worth it since events are near impossible to complete. Also maybe add Rachel to the random pool of Large Candy Surprises so people who can't beat her event can still get her.

Anyone know if doing the event levels without having her unlocked unlocks her?

I'd probably get told to put here if I put it in discussions so put it here first. Plus I feel this would help the game instead of having super good people abuse the time of the infinite lives to pretty much instawin races.
