This normally happens when you change the clock on your mobile, the game doesn't recognize it and the internal clock stays the same. I don't know enough about iOS to comment on it. Have you changed the clock or time settings etc?

It's always worth a try but one important thing is that if you do it, you will lose all your boosters, so keep this in mind.

Have you checked that you have automatic updates turned on, this will make sure you have the latest app update which contains the new levels etc. This is only thing I can think this would be.

I think as the beans were free that it's not something you can get a refund for sorry. You get more beans by playing the levels again so you can build them back up and try again :)

This has happened to me before. The only answer I found was to play that level again. I think there's a bit of a hiccup but I'm not sure. I played the level once more and then the animal appeared. Not the best option but see if it works for you.

I think there will always be a mix of challenging and easy level, but I guess if a level appears that is really really difficult then maybe King change it to keep the game enjoyable.

Hello Helen. The only thing you need to do is open the app and connect to facebook/kingdom again. Just tap the connect button on the homescreen of Candy Crush and the game will sync with facebook and put you on whatever you played last.

I've seen a few posts on the site about this, where players have got the 3 stars but it didn't unlock the companions. The only advice I saw was to replay the level again. The only other reason I can think of is that you can't use the companions on this level.
