The speed button always gets introduced at level 500 @MountainMom so this is why @theoFR is not yet seeing it in his game at level 328.

The accelerator function is first introduced when players reach level 500. If you are before level 500 you will not see it.

I saw a leaked Terms and Conditions document, according to which the inclusion criteria are like last year (USA, Canada, Brazil, Argentina, most EU countries and UK, Switzerland etc) plus Taiwan and Singapore.

I did see a clause that stipulated participants had to be present in one of the participating countries for a few days before the event starts @QueenB . I think therefore that King should make the Terms and Conditions public before the event starts. Why is it so late this year? I am going away for a week at the end of thisβ¦

I fear you won't know until the event starts on Thursday. We are all in the same situation. There isn't much info coming from King. They are keeping everything tightly under wraps this year until the last minute.

Yes, I do know what a normal distribution is @michimune . In a field of ten million even a small proportion of players will be a large number, there will certainly be as many "top players" in the final round as last year, when 500 such players reached the last round. You are right in what you say about the earlier roundsβ¦

What I mean by "bespoke" is if the opponents we see on our leaderboard are not a random selection but are chosen especially for us by the AI, based on our recent playing behaviour and experience. So players who crush 200 levels per week and are playing at levels above 10,000 are given harder opponents in leaderboards thanβ¦

I agree with all that @Nobody1 wrote and would like to go a step further and argue that in such a case revenue for King would drop. Not only does the thought experiment establish that players keeping their tokens strategically could unfairly be eliminated in final knockout rounds 1 and 2 by malicious players, but anyβ¦
