Did you stop midway in an episode for too long? Each episode usually takes between 30 minutes to three hours to finish from the moment you start the first level of an episode.

The problem with Gold Pass is that it can conflict with the Charm of Lives that some older players may have purchased back in 2013 (the first charm). Once the Gold Pass ends for that week, am I going to lose the three extra lives if I bought the Charm of Lives around 12 years ago?
