I can't but I was just looking at the reddit candy crush page and others who posted their winning leader boards I could see at the bottom the multipliers they have left.

To be honest @stephanie2024 I have mostly stopped watching adverts at the end of an Episode Race precisely because of what you describe. In my case it is not that I can't X out, but I am taken to the advertiser's website and my game sometimes crashes when I try to get back to my game.
I don't know if you have tried this, but when you have an advert and the X doesn't seem to work when you select it turn your device to landscape orientation. When I have done this the X works. It doesn't work with all adverts though as some do not change their orientation.
I only get six extra gold bars for watching adverts, your 16 gold bar version is much better.
I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for King to fix the adverts as they have not been working correctly since at least 2021. Strangely as bad as they are now I think they are better than they used to be
