Melting Season has arrived in the game, bringing a fresh seasonal look and a mix of events to enjoy during February.

With Valentine’s Day around the corner, this season combines a cosy winter feel with themed challenges, returning favourites, and a special Valentine tournament.

Here’s a simple overview of what’s happening during Melting Season, without spoilers or surprises.

Melting Season Dates

From 2 February to 1 March

During the season, you can expect:

• Seasonal visuals and quests in the game
• Limited time events across February
• The Valentine’s Tournament with multiple competitive rounds

💖 Valentine’s Cake Quest Tournament

To celebrate Valentine’s Day, the Valentine’s Cake Quest Tournament will be available during Melting Season.

🎯 How the tournament works

• Only new levels and Star Tournament award points
• Collect purple candies to score points
• Your score appears on a live leaderboard
• Top players move forward each round
• Final winners earn Gold Bars

⭐ Multiplier token reminder

During the Valentine’s Cake Quest Tournament, players will see the multiplier token feature.

Multiplier tokens can temporarily boost the points you earn during leaderboard events.

Please note: A small percentage of players may not see the event due to testing!

👀 Other events you may see during Melting Season

Alongside the Valentine tournament, several familiar events will appear during the season. These events come and go at different times.

You may see:

• Baker’s Box
• Color Bomb Series
• Critter Catch (also known as Tap the Butterfly), available to some players
• Don’t Feed the Troll, popping up later in the season
• Saga Adventures, where you help rescue a character at the end of an episode.

Not all events appear for everyone at the same time, and availability may vary due to testing.

You're one of the lucky ones, because I still don't get the Free Switch. I get the Sweet Cinema, but get the fish and wheels. I definitely think they pick and choose who gets what kind of boosters in the Sweet Cinema. For that reason, it makes it harder and harder to want to continue playing this game.

Strange thing happened yesterday. The Widgets on the map for events that have a reward to be claimed at the bottom no longer have a Claim tag above it but still turn yellow and Weekly Contest has no widget on the map making players without the events tab impossible to look into its status if the player has no more levels to do and does all the new levels under Windows, unless the player reaches on this week at the top 3 when the current week ends (Which should pop up after playing a level)

Personally, I would not like to see another pop-up before the game launches. I agree that it is not often clear what a given widget represents, but I know I can tap on it to see what it is. If I need a reminder, I can tap a widget whenever I want, rather than watch a repetitive pop-up. Players already complain about not being able to opt out of some events that pop-up (e.g., Candy Royale), so I suspect they would not want to see one that presents information over and over.

I might not like how cluttered the map is getting with all the widgets, but they don't annoy me like a repetitive pop-up would, especially if it was FYI only. And I do like the widgets that show my "rank" and a timer for events, even though I might not participate.

I appreciate the creative solution offered, but I don't want to be required to watch another pop-up in my game. Perhaps the information could be made available when a player taps on the "Events" tab.
