The second row of the Puzzle does not make sense. Roses don't bloom or blossom into a Sunflower. Was that meant to throw us off?

Below are my answers and computations that lead me to the Final Figure.

Rose + Rose = Sunflower (This didn't make sense)

4 + 4 = 8

6 + 6 = 12

2 x 4 + 6 = 14

14 is my Final Answer.
