Who would like to help me figure this out?

I just started my new story "The difference between culture and tradition". It's got me so confused and yet determined to find out the difference. So this is what I have found online so far.

Culture identify certain ideas, customs, and social behaviors. It represents a group of people or a society, combining their knowledge, beliefs, morals, and laws.

Tradition describes an individual event or practice, such as removing your shoes when entering your home. Traditions are ideas and beliefs passed down from one generation to the next.

A custom is a traditional way of performing or doing something specific to a particular society, place, or time. Each nation, religion, community have their exclusive customs. A specific gesture, behavior, experience, or act turns into a custom when it continuously practiced. When this is followed for several ages and passed down to fresher generations, it becomes a custom.

Why in my mind do they all sound the same? I need you guys to explain in layman's terms (meaning easy definition) of how you define these. Perhaps you can give me some examples too.

Once I have this clearer in my head I would like you to offer some examples of these from your countries for the story, so please share some of those too. Thanks!
