Dear fellow King-tastic crews,
We have spent the first half of year 2021 and time flies! As we entered the month of June, King is celebrating love and that everybody should be proud of loving and being loved!
There is a lot to celebrate in the month of June but Father's Day is close to our heart and it is around the corner. Father's Day is a day of honoring fatherhood and paternal bonds, as well as the influence of fathers in society. Thus, we would love to hear your stories/memories about you and your father or any father figure in your life 😊😊😊.
My most memorable story about my father was when I was nine years old. It was a day filled with bittersweet emotion. 🎭
My parents held a small party on my 9th birthday and invited close relatives and some friends.🎈🎁 It was the first party ever held in my home and I was happy and also puzzled on the special occasion because my parents had never throw any birthday parties for me or any of my siblings. Nevertheless, I was happy to see my relatives and cousins and I could see my father smiling and shaking hands and receiving back pat from certain relatives. I still haven't figured out what was going on until the party ended and everyone left.
After we cleaned up and still dressed in our party suits, my father took out his camera 📷 and directed to sit closely with each other before taking a picture. The next thing I knew, he told us that he will be working in another state that was 4.5 hours away from where we lived. That picture he took is for him bring along whenever he goes. My eyes started to well up and I cried because it will be our first time to be away from him for a long time. I soon realised that the birthday party we had earlier was also a farewell party for my father. The next day, he drove off and began his new career. He continued to travel to another country for his career advancement. Though my father and I were not that close but he has been the most affectionate and supportive father. He loves all of us and has been our sole breadwinner in the family. Without his financial support and my mom's ability to save up, I wouldn't be having the life I'm living now. Happy Father's Day to my dear father and to all the fathers and father's figure out there.

My dad LOL now that's a hard one, in my younger years was not really there for the drink although he always took me to my football matches, but now would not change him for the world. Absolute Diamond, is always there for me no matter what. Could not wish for a better Father now. My only hope is i get many more years with him
Thanks bfor the Tag @wykoon

Here in Germany, Father's Day is in May, always on the holiday 'Ascension Day'
My father passed away 5 years ago. In my youth and later, I often had discussions and small quarrels. My mother once said that this is because we are so similar. I couldn't believe that. He actually had no school education, had to work hard as a child, but was always there for his friends and family. He has learned everything himself, whether others spoke or some activities. I have always admired him for that.
I could write a lot about him, but the most important thing is, nobody will forget him!

Hi Koon, that's a really nice thought.
I can't tell you a special moment with my father. He was always there for his daughters (my sister and I) and helped us whenever we needed help. He is now 92 years old and lives in another city. Whenever possible, we visit him. We are always welcome. I probably got my patience and sincerity from him. He has always taught us to recognize all people, regardless of the color of their skin or relegation. He taught us to always be appreciative and to acknowledge the achievements of others. I think I have the best father. I don't know of a better one.
