Hi @Lola_Pop โค๏ธ
In Cairo, Egypt. Some of the houses are tall buildings and it is very rare to find open land for growing crops. I don't throw away plastic bottles of used drinks because I reuse them for planting spring onions on the balcony.Organic onions are very healthy.

Hi Crushers!ย
I live in Italy and for some years I have been committed to respecting the sustainable development goals of the 2030 agenda. When I buy something, I always try to verify that it is eco-sustainable and that the products are recycled. I always buy my cosmetics from sites that collaborate with WeForest and I have already managed to plant some trees in Zambia. I can also reuse my old clothes by modifying them or I give them to those who need them. I managed to eliminate the plastic almost completely, but I still have a long way to go. I also collaborated with some schools to spread the message โEarth is our home and we must take care of itโ.

Hi @Lola_Pop thank you so much for this thread, I live in Cornwall, England, UK.
It has been a beautiful Spring day here ๐ I have been busy in my garden, like the bumble bees that visit me. Below is one feeding and pollinating one of my blueberry flowers ๐
I love to encourage wildlife into my garden by providing plants, flowers and shelter they look for. I have regular hedgehogs (which are in decline) toads, frogs and slow worms that enjoy my garden and consider them my buddies, as they help control slugs and snail problems.
I like to be as environmentally friendly as possible, encouraging these animals, using biological control, I have carnivorous plants in my greenhouse (last picture) which help control fungus gnats whose grubs destroy young seedlings and plants, as well as having introduced nematodes in my garden many years a go (they are truly fascinating, they remind me of little piranhas!) It always excites me to see ladybirds (which eat aphids) especially when my garden has been blessed with them laying their eggs, I love watching the cycle they go through. These insects and some birds, like the Greenfinch have been in decline, but we now have 2 or 3 of these birds at the moment which is great ๐ค
I grow a lot of fruit, vegetable and flower plants, most of which I raise myself from seed.
I have been busy pricking out today, picture 2 are mimulus and lobelia. Picture 3 tomato plants, picture 4 trailing sweet peas, and picture 5 are sweet pepper plants, to show a few.
I have several bird feeders and get great enjoyment watching them and listening to their songs, especially on a day like today when I am outside. I love watching them at the moment gathering nesting material, and will often put hair outside (after I have done a hair cut) as they love this for their nests. ๐ They look so cute when they have got a beak full of hair, it looks like they have got a moustache!
I try and recycle everything that I possibly can. I love the environment very much, and will often pick up rubbish randomly littered.
I am very grateful to enjoy all of natures wonders and never take them for granted, and I am very serious in helping to do my bit for conservation and preservation. ๐ณ๐ค

Location California
Been trying to improve my yard with more colors. I have a plant not able to water it, I do not want to disturb Dove that has made a nest. I sure hope the babies survive.
Starting more plants that were taken from the front yard due to improving landscape.
