Can't move to next level on Candy Crush Saga

To Whom It May Concern, I cleared level 1688 on Candy Crush Saga but instead of letting me go to 1689 it has started me over on 1688. I am playing this on my kindle. How do I get the game to move on to the next level. I'm so tired of this level. Help.

Understood that you have cleared level 1688 but not progressing to the next level. May you show us the screenshot when you click on that level to see whether your score is registered and appear in the leaderboard?

Sometimes this happens to all of us. You should try to clear it a second time (I know it sucks) and it will likely not happen again.
