Can't move to next level on Candy Crush Saga

To Whom It May Concern, I cleared level 1688 on Candy Crush Saga but instead of letting me go to 1689 it has started me over on 1688. I am playing this on my kindle. How do I get the game to move on to the next level. I'm so tired of this level. Help.

Sometimes this happens to all of us. You should try to clear it a second time (I know it sucks) and it will likely not happen again.
