I have learned through all these years living that I don't count on anyone else to give me love. You know that because you learned it the hard way, like most of us do. So now if I seek love I look for it inside myself. If I have the extra money then I will buy me a present out of love. It could be candy or flowers but I don't wait for someone else to send something to me. It could be my age that makes me feel this way but I don't believe that Valentine's Day should be for couples and only couples. Friends for Valentine's Day are just as important. It could be a friend giving a friend a Valentine's Day card or candy or flowers. Or just buying yourself a gift.
So let's make you happy. If you wanted to celebrate this holiday and you decided to love you, what kind of present could you buy for yourself? For me it's always chocolate because that's the candy that I love the most.
