You Can Learn a lot From a Dummy; a (sort of) Candy Con(fection)al 😬 by Way of Introduction

Options

I'm a Newbie to this community, though my admittedly overzealous prideful nature would take great offense at being referred to as such to the game itself-- I'm writing this on a little siesta from my ongoing blue egg hunt and perhaps rallying my resolve prior to plunging headlong into the clutches of what dear old Odus forewarns me is the "nightmarishly difficult" level 55 hundred and 40-- but that number is more likely a testament to my compulsive behavior patterns than to any claim to Candy Crush tenure...

The fact of the matter is that I only first downloaded the app following the loss of my job at the onset of our new socially distant conditions (so, roughly a year), and I still find myself making rookie mistakes; eg allowing a candy bomb to put a premature end to my daily allotment of lives because I was confident that the Swedish Fish whose help I THOUGHT I had enlisted to the task of preventing said tragic fate had eagerly hastened to annihilate the comparatively more benign threat of some pesky licorice block. 🤦

My knee-jerk response is typically indignant, and I have to laugh at myself when my sensibilities (well-meaning, but ever the last to arrive on the scene) point out that the "evil overloards" at King never misled me with the false claim that a Swedish fish when matched would make a b-line to the most imminent threat I'm currently facing on my Candy quest; merely one of the assortment of aforementioned obstacles and that I would do well to internalize the knowledge that decisions on strategy are quite frankly well beyond their pay grade and as the acting commander of such a rag-tag battalion of a dental practitioner's job security, the blame lies squarely on my own (now rounded) shoulders.

I'm not entirely sure why I'm putting this out there... no doubt the only response it will provoke is the retort that this forum isn't the proper place for posts of this sort and the fact that I've done so betrays my newbie designation as adequately as my allusion to the crash test commercials in my subtitle betray my age.

Touche'

But life is a learning experience 🤷‍♀️ and it's more likely that it (this post) will disappear into the infinite oblivion of unsolicited tmi obscurity.
