    Thank you.@Nenikapaki @Elsa

Once I had a difficult birth behind me and everything was done to me and I was handled with kid gloves. Until I said: Let me do something. I was just checked. In all of them and thus I never had a close relationship with a man. My sister had it all. Her freedoms and was therefore more independent. She was born healthy. That makes a big difference. Many therapists had said to my mother: don't cling like that and let the child do something and decide. I was denied anything. Now I'm 52 singles and don't want a man anymore and just need my rest. Life had stressed me out enough. I hope you can understand the translation. I think the post only applies to healthy people.

It has to be so difficult to be a middle child. I didn't even think about the hand me down things. So you never got new things. ๐Ÿ˜”

I feel for @Spinnifix too with her unhappy childhood.

As the first born, a lot was expected of me. I don't know if it's because my mother was very controlling but she demanded a lot from me. Maybe I would have been better off as the middle child by being ignored.

Yeah another first born here! @Nikolaos_Prodromidis with both of your parents being middle children do you see some similar personality traits in both of them?

@Spinnifix . Everything happens for a reason. You are blessed in so many ways.. That is all that counts. ๐Ÿค—โค๏ธ

@Elsa . My own mother never loved me like she loved my other sisters. That's okay. I never had any grudge at her at all. Maybe she has her personal reasons not to.

I must say. Somehow I already had a beautiful childhood, only the severity of my mother was sick. It wasn't just childhood. Even when I was at home and couldn't go to work, it got a lot worse. It went to my age of 35. Then I was finally able to move out. Moving out wasn't that easy. Before that there was a drama and it went to the doctor. From then on I lived with my sister for six months and she helped me find an apartment. From there it went uphill.
