Interesting stats @Elsa & thanks for the tag @Diamond Lim @Colleen-12 @Elsa & @EnergizerBunny my son has been a huge gamer since he was a young boy. I used to limit his time to 1-2 hrs per day. I started with Angry Birds in 2011 at the age of 50. I found Jewel Mania a few years later & then became hooked on Pet Shop Story. I found Bubble Witch a few years ago & was instantly hooked! I will be a member of the 60's club on Oct 26th & I have not missed a day of playing in the last 2.5 years! My son, who now has a family of gamers, is constantly teasing me about how many hours per day I spend playing BW3! Good thing that he's not in this community cause there are days that I play for 5-6 hours...shhhhh lol! ππ₯°π€£

Back in my day, we played computer adventure games that were just text - and had to walk uphill both ways to do so! π΄π» (I miss Zork).
I am 48, as a kid played arcade games at the mall and on Atari 2600. First video game I saw (and played) was Pong! I drifted away from gaming for a while, till someone gave my young nephew a Super Nintendo with Zelda, which we played together, got hooked again. Heβs now 27, time flies.

I found the beginning of your discussion to be interesting. I am in the 50+ age group. I have been playing various PC games over the last 30 years with my husband. Last year, my new computer came with window 10 app with Candy Crush Friends Saga.I started playing the beginning levels and got hooked.

This I believe, because it is one thing i noticed here in the community, most members are female. There are some whose pen names seems to be male but in real are females.

I wasn't here in 2019 to see the stats then, I do find these stats very interesting. I like ready stats π stats contain a lot of info in not very much reading. It's neat to see where I fit in!
