Hi @Elsa I stopped believing in fiction characters between ages 4 & 7 years, but I've never lost the child in me. I keep it alive with my nieces and nephews. If you don't want the young to grow up to fast, especially in this day and age you have to come down to their level and absorb their excitement, energy and become their friend. Play with them! That way you will always keep the child in you alive!

Well I don't remember when exactly I lost belief in fairy tales..probably when my friends started telling me that these were just imagination and not reality😅🤪
Hmmm..If I were to be childlike again ( which by the way I dont think I have outgrown still😂) I would like to create my own picnic day, by putting a sheet down on the floor and then trying to make an unsuccessful tent and ending up with an umbrella as my version of tent , doing cooking with the cooking sets and making tea for all my toys and acting as if I am a grown up by wearing mom's saree and heels😹.

I remember when I stopped believing, I was about 11 years old. I saw something and was confused but then I said it is not real. I was okay with it and life went on. I stopped celebrating when I left home. This time of the year, the holiday's haven't been so kind to everyone but I still love the season since I was born this time of the year. I enjoy the atmosphere and the beautiful lights. I like the decorations and the season for giving. People also seem to be nicer around this time so I like it.

@CarlitaAlfonso when is your birthday? Mine is the 30th! My best memories about this holiday is when my father would take us for a drive to look at everyone's houses lit up for the holiday. When my kids came along my husband and I did that with them. Then when my grandchildren were born I told my son that we have to take them. The decorations are definitely beautiful at this time of year.
