I’m having the same problem, and for over a week have received one canned answer after another. After completing final deletes, there are indications the account is not deleted (when I go to the App Store to re-acquire Candy Crush and start fresh, it displays a cloud icon which tells me that somehow the iPhone and iPad are retaining memory of the old account.) I want to re-acquire the app and start over. Nothing a 5-minute phone call couldn’t solve.

Thanks for the prompt response. I think it may be that I have not deleted CC Soda off the devices. I’m working on that.
